The Christmas season opens before us one of the deepest mysteries of faith - the mystery of God who became Man. He comes quietly, without splendor, entrusted to the loving care of Mary. In her arms Jesus found safe refuge; in her gaze, a presence filled with love; and in her daily closeness, protection and harmony in ordinary life. This same Mother is given also to us, to guide, strengthen, and shelter us in the struggles of our earthly journey.
Jasna Góra, a place of trust and spiritual refuge for centuries, invites all the more in this holy season to pause and listen to the silence of the Incarnation. Here, pilgrims discover a space for prayer and gratitude, and rediscover the meaning of the path they walk each day. Christmas reminds us that true strength is born of humility, and hope flows from the closeness of God - who comes not to judge, but to remain with humanity.
May the celebration of Christmas become for everyone a time of renewed faith, revived hope, and deepened love - both the love we receive and the love we are called to share with others. Under the care of Mary, it is easier to persevere through difficulties, to find peace of heart, and to experience an inner joy that does not fade amid the noise of everyday life.
The Staff of the Jasna Góra Information Centre extend their heartfelt Christmas greetings to all Collaborators and Pilgrims of Jasna Góra. May the angelic hymn “Gloria in excelsis Deo” resound not only in the liturgy, but also in daily life, bringing light, reconciliation, and peace.
We wish you a joyful Christmas and a blessed New Year 2026.
